I have taken a liking to him also. Pitching smarts and good control can go a long way. glavine had a nice career without great “stuff”.

If he keeps it up in Bingo to start the season, might not be long before you see him in NY.

lol- About time Petey with Gorski. Darin is 1 of my faves in the Mets farm system and I think he’s going to develop into a better pitcher than Niese on the ML level.

sounds like a thinking mans pitcher. Nice.

If he really can add the 2 seamer (wonder why not a cutter?) effectively, he might just end up having enough to be a solid ML pitcher.

Isn’t he a bit young to be listening to Bing? Lol I have a hunch he will be as good if not better than Wheeler. Zack is too wild ans is more of a thrower than a pitcher. This kid seems to understand the nuances of pitching and sometimes that trumps pure stuff.

Great Job Pete!

I loved the part about confidence. Here is a guy who has roughly the same type pitches as Pelfrey does but shows what confidence and getting in on batters does for you!

With Confidence you don’t overpitch or get too fine with your pitches and you let your pitches do the work.
Throwing in (as Gorski said) gets them off the outside part of the plate where that slider can do the most good.

Petey nice job… you’re rapidly becoming the man here in MMO, with the lack of good writers here you have moved up in my chart.. although i am still bummed you didn’t put familia as the #1 prospect but is all good…
on gorski, this kid sounds like a guy who wants to be good and is working hard at it, i am glad we have him..
I like that he likes that mariah carey’s all i want for chrsitmas, is a really good song and shes my favorite female artist, all i want for chrsitmas is new owners and new front office personel who wants to win…
