And take it a step further—in 1973 the Mets has SO little offense and Reggie hit a HR in Game 7 of the WS—so, it is not much of a stretch to imagine that with Reggie the Mets could have won it all in 1973 and have 3 trophies today instead of 2.

sometimes you make the “right” decision, and it still turns out wrong.

But, drafting is far from an exact science. And the reason you need as many high draft choices as possible, so you have more ping pong balls in the mix!
