Rauch, Ramirez & Francisco to me are the best acquisitions. Rauch has had better seasons than last year and I think he will be solid in the bullpen. Ramirez though I did not see him pitch should fit nicely and be a quality arm. Francisco as a closer, I will just keep my fingers crossed. Another lefty in the pen and a righthanded bat with pop and can play multiple positions beside 1st & the OF, would be nice. How about Edwin Jackson for the rotation?

If the source you tout as PROOF of good decisionsis constantly wrong about your decisions then whose fault is that?

You keep using BA as some benchmark of SUCCESS!

But when they are wrong you blame the team for BA’s failure not BA because you know if you DID blame BA for it would preclude you from using them as proof of just how swell a job Sandy is doing!

Really you and Xtreem both say Sandy is doing well, then when someone points out the inconsistent nature of his quotes to his actions you act as if the move is good because it HAD to be bad! Sandy had no choice but to acquire crap!

That may be true but that doesn’t mean the fact he is acquiring crap is a GOOD MOVE!

A Bad move is a BAD move no matter what conditions forced the decision!
Like the movie says..if you can’t win the game then the only winning move is not to play!

Sandy could have stuck with some of these failed kids like F-Mart and had no worse affect than compared to what he got instead!

The guys he got have no more upside for this year or next than FMart did!
Yet you applaud the alternative losers merely for the name change and call it a good move!

If one of these WORTHLESS DUMPABLE kids ever does anything in the MLB I’m sure having Torres for a year will be a GOOD move still right?

Get a clue guys..really!
Put down the pom poms and start evaluating moves for the moves, not the conditions you think forced them or the percieved failure of making a list that is wrong 57% of the time in predicting great MLB talent!

Forget for a moment how often a guy on thier list actually makes ther MLB and start counting all the guys who have NEVER made the list and go to the ALL star game!

As for the rest I will leave you and your pom poms to practice your pyramid (scheme)

I should add that Alex saying “the Core salutes you” doesn’t mean he is speaking for me and Alex would be the 1st to tell this. It is just something he gets a kick in doing maybe even more because of some of the reactions it gets I don’t know. Still him saying it is not code for something anyone should get worked up over in my opinion.

Its not that people get mad or anything. It is more amusement. Like I said, he doesn’t use it the way you explained it.

He’s using it to speak for people who didn’t as him to to try and push his views as having some sort of authority. It is a sad little attempt to bully people.

I don’t get mad over it. It actually makes me pity the boy.

It’s simply what Alex uses to recognize those from back in the days b4 cerrone became the official mets blog that he banned mainly for disagreeing with him.

there is not much more to it than that. Alex uses it for the longest time and has explained it often. It is just something Alex likes to use but all it is is what I said. It’s just some seem to think it means more despite Alex having explained what it is often times.
