I still cannot believe Edwin Jackson hasn’t been signed.
Maybe 5 teams in 4 years is a sign of a personality issue? I don’t know, but the guy has logged over 30 starts very year since 2007. He’s a fine 3/4 type starter in my view.
He wants 15-17mil a year for 5.That’s most likely why. He’s nuckin futs.
He thinks he’s worth more than CJ Wilson? Quick, find the name of his dealer. He’s got the good stuff.
I think he’s German. You know the Germans always make good stuff.
Hopefully there will still be a good high school OFer from Wyoming available again at #12. Wyoming is a hotbed for MLB talent.
Personally, I’m holding out for a 22 year old relief pitcher to draft 3 rounds higher than anyone else has him ranked.
Off Topic: Been playing with the Kindle Touch web browser and MMO loads pretty smoothly on it.
Love my Kindle but I have the DX which just has the experimental browser so I never bothered.
However, I have the Galaxy tab as well and this site loads great on that. Only ran into 1 or 2 of the baseball sites I normally visit that give me problems on the Galaxy.
How do you like your Galaxy? I’m a Google fanboy, but I just can’t commit to a tablet yet.
Dang…..we lose Jose Reyes and first pick we get is #12. That’s just wrong….
“We” (The Mets) also get picks #35 and 65 for Reyes.
Is there a site or publication that runs mock MLB Drafts or projections?
Ya, but I don’t think they’ve started yet
Ummm… why were Willingham and Cuddyer in front of Reyes in the Elias rankings again? Doesn’t make sense…
Because Reyes missed so much time the last 3 years,he was a lower rated Type A than those guys as crazy as that sounds.
And now we know why the Elias rankings have been dropped.
I wish we had 4 of the first 68 picks last year with a much deeper draft. This upcoming draft is not nearly as deep.
Draft picks for a bonafide supestar and arguably the best player in franchise history… yeah, i am really looking forward to another draft with depodesta at the helm… CAN’T WAIT!!!!
Best player in franchise history? How old are you again?
TRS86, old enough to have seen many players play the game… imo he’s been the best player.. short of a championship…
The Mets should sneak into Jacksonville and snatch up some more JU Dolphins:
*Dan Gulbransen is a Daniel Murphy clone and excellent outfeilder (pure hitter)
*Adam Brett Walker is a big stick who has the versatility to play 1B / RF
*Jonathon Murphy plays an excellent OF w/ highest assist #’s in country (D. Murphs Brother)
All 3 can hit – run – and defend
