I think R.A. may be my favorite Met. Thanks a lot, Kelly, for pointing out that R.A. was just doing this as a personal physical challenge, but for a really humane and deserving cause.

I think that Dickey is the most respected member of the Mets. Between his on field performances, his post game interviews and his mountain climbing… Dickey for Captain.

What a picture if he went into a windup and threw a knuckler off the mountain. Too bad, it could of happened but the Wilpons on their tight budget couldn’t afford to give him a ball. What really would have been cool is if he could have dragged a Mr Met uniform to the top and put it on for the picture. How great would that have been! Still a wonderful feat and for such a good cause. He’s a good guy and a good Met!

I keep telling you to stop reading between the lines because you’re just not very good at it. I wouldn’t waste my time trying to get you banned. Contrary to your belief, I had nothing to do with you getting banned to begin with.

The point of my comment just went right over your head. What does SA and this FO have to do with RA reaching the summit? Before you went off on a rant you could have at least congratulated him. I guess that was out of the question since you didn’t want him making that climb to begin with.

I have no problem with anyone who doesn’t share the same opinions as I do in all things Mets. I just don’t understand why some of you can’t state your opinions or debate the topic without making it personal.

You’re not the only one who has done this but you’ve become the poster boy for it. You’re infamous across many Met blogs I frequent.

And she never said you should be banned. Simply made a comment about how much more pleasant the conversation in the comments section was when the small number of constantly negative posters, that mostly attack other porters directly, where not around.
