If he was taking roids he couldn’t have been taking them for too long.He’s not all that big unless he was using winstrol like Palmeiro tested positive for.

Ross has been a consistent .300 hitter with great power throughout his professional career which began in the minors back in 2005. If he is unable to provide the evidence that he either didn’t take the drugs or that the medications he was prescribed resulted in such blood levels, then the question of his entire career stats come into question since they are so consistent from beginning to end. It also would make me wonder if he took the stuff when in high school so his increased body weight, etc. would not be noticed by the scouts.

If that’s the case, he most likely would still have been a good player but the PED probably then carried him to superstar status.

But the fact that he is the league’s MVP makes me believe MLB double and triple checked it’s homework in hopes of avoiding another black eye which raises doubts about the steroid era really being at an end.

I don’t understand MLB they are going to suspend him for 50 games for cheating and then tell him he was the Most Valuable Player in the National League. If you test positive you should not be eligable for any awards that year. I did hear somewhere (probably speculaion) that he was taking a steroid for herepes.

He hasn’t said…they’re using the “we can’t talk about a one going case” stance right now…people have speculated that he took something for a STD…

I agree. Where’s the “I was taking prescription cough medicine” or “decongestant for a bad cold” or “I have never, ever taken an illegal substance?”

Although we’ve heard those all before from these liars (“I didn’t know what he was shooting in my ass.”), it would be nice to hear his side.
