Kind of like how Cahsen was an advertising exec at the brewery the Orioles’ ownership had when he joined their front office.

Best thing about finally making it back to .500 in 2016, is that my unborn son and future Mets fan will be born to a winning Mets team. Also, awesome.

Let me tell you a little something about baseball – The Red Sox have a solid team that is already bound for the playoffs next year and getting off to a good start will wipe away any bad feelings a couple games at the end of the previous season created.

That’s baseball. But you keep on worrying about saving money, kissing Sandy’s feet while things are so lousy with the Mets right now w/all the problems they have but yet you attack Boston and Philadelphia? Meanwhile major exciting changes are happening over in those cities, the fan base is charged up, buying tickets i bet while things couldn’t be any more terrible over here.

Ask Craig Lerner – he wrote how the season was a success, how Alderson had a “remarkable off season” last year and just today he was rah rah-ing w/those pom poms about how everything is going great and how the everything for the Mets was so baaaaaaaad during the previous adminsitration

Red Sox being held up as the model franchise? Fresh off a massive gag job last season, a debacle of losing the team (drinking during the game in uniform?), superstr GM bailing, ownership/FO spats, firing the manager that lead them to 2 WS titles?

Basically the team was a mess, and they went out and got a big name retired manager out of storage.

This makes them the beacon of positive energy?

It’s getting even tougher now to even root for this team and even think of yourself as a Mets fan. It’s real hard. Maybe the day will come will i cannot think of myself as a Mets fan as this turns into more and more of the type of team i can never want to root for. Time will tell
