Nice – I enjoyed this interview.
Sounds like this young man has realistic expectations and a good work ethic to get there. I’m sure having a pro catcher as a father helps immensely towards his goal.

Great job Pete. I really enjoy your work.

The best question of all is “who on your team really impressed you?” That really gives a good insight. No one knows players better than other players.

One thing I would be interested in, not that your interviews aren’t already at the top of the required Met Fan’s reading list, would be about opposing players and/or teams in the league in which the interviewee competed against. That might be interesting as well.

Really fantastic work in getting to know some of these guys in our minors before we can start seeing them for our selves when they get a little closer geographically like in the Eastern or Int’l League.
