cedeno still around? Not sure if he is better than Wilson at this point (hell, I am better than Wilson!), but they do need a MI bench guy that can legitimately play SS on a semi-regular basis.

The article has no credibility and ignores the trueth. The author raves about Jaramillo’s great numbers failing to mention he has all if 43 ABs… 43 at bats is nothing…… The article is a fraud. Must have been written by fred/saul/buddy and of course approved and released by little jeffy sitting at home crying and praying that da da doesn’t have to sell.

I think bringing in Jason Jaramillo to at least challenge Mike Nickeas for the back-up C role in ST makes a lot of sense. He’s credible both offensively and defensively for a back-up C. He’s a switch hitter. He earned only 423K last season and is not eligible for arbitration until 2013.

He’s not intended to replace Thole, only last year’s backup Paulino. You seem to cry about anything this team does why do you even follow them at all?

So are you saying that MOST teams do not go out and look for backups? This would be a good guy to look at regardless of their financial state. IF they had money, who would you go after for a backup catcher?

Look at it this way. He would be a significant upgrade over Ronny Paulino, so in that regard he’d be an improvement over last season. With the loss of Reyes, I think we can make up a lot of it if we can more production in as many other places as we can. And by the way, I think Ruben Tejada is going to surprise alot of people this season!

does sandy look at the surgery log at the local ER and figure out who to go after off that? players off disappointing seasons and surgery should just fly to queens when they get out of rehab, they know they will have a contract waiting.
