Gee you would think since the Mets need starting pitching signing a starter like Jason Marquis for 3 million would be better than signing Rauch for 3.5 mil. And then if you signed him than maybe you can package one of the other starters with a prospect for another deal. But that’s of course if you want to win in New York – then you do those things.

And if Sandy is such a stickler for the minors like his minions here say he is you would think he should go that route and use the money saved to retain the minor league team they just lost.

This is what i mean, again the mets sign another player who is what, can’t hit, can’t produce. So when you need a situation for a pitch hitter late in the game, really like he’s gonna. Man the mets really sinking low these days. Thanks once again to the wilpons who really give a Damm about this team. With a New ballpark at the costs of it, this is how we put the fans in the stands. Tell me anyone why the wilpons won’t sell. So keep us in the bottom again for along time under the wilpons banner. They don’t give us fans banner day or old timers day, what happen to baseball tradtion. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, wilpons sell our team to save us some dignity

I like the “never hitting homers over the great wall.” Nice job there but the :put you right to sleep” part doesn’t fit right to me. Maybe a different play with words would of been better.

Overall not bad though.
