the only thing that is old is sandy doing nothing to improve the team, yet he has people like you who kiss his feet. when he does something other than set the mets franchise back 50 years, i will say so. the sny rating are in the toilet, the stands are empty and yet for some reason you think we have this great gm. it’s funny that only the writers on this site support him and my guess is they like hearing his hot air up close and personnel. get a clue before we wake up as the cubs.

I don’t think he’s talking just about this offseason – He’s also talking about last year, and the trading deadline.

Phillies have signed Lee, traded for Pence, lost Madson, but signed Papelbon.

Braves have traded for Bourn and Uggla.

While we have traded Beltran, K-Rod, and technically Reyes is no longer a Met.

They are getting better, and we are getting worse – That’s a fact.

Alex, don’t worry no matter what they write they are going to continue to sell his bs, they like the access but what they fail to understand is the mets are becoming irreverent and they can have all the access they want it does not matter because the mets are losing fans faster than the US rings up debt and we have sandy to thank for another offseason of doing nothing.
