He only went in so the folks who came to see him off could see what they were going to be missing because Sandy likes drafting not spending!
And two 2nd rounders is better to Sandy than an All Star, Batting Champ and potential HOFer combined!

All of a sudden if Sandy signed him for even 6.120M they will try to spin it as he crafted and outsmarted Reyes into a great deal!

Thats cause facts, history and truth is just something to be smeared around when trying to prove a load of bull!

We’ve been watching baseball too for most of our lives and we know the game too, and we’re confident in what we can do. Of course it would take time to learn the fundamentals of that tyep of work but as far as what to do to keep this team competitive during tough financial times you would be doing a better job than Alderson.

I don’t get all why so many people are enamored with this guy? So far he’s proven to be nothing and if anything incompetent. Either incompetent or his plan is just BAD. We’ll see.

Was signing Hairston better than bringing up Kirk to start the season after he hit .225 after his promotion to Buffalo in 2010? A million percent yes. Now Kirk has another year of AAA and it did him great. He hit .298/.403/.505. When he’s healthy again, he’s a prime candidate for a mid-season call up. Get it?
