I mean Reyes is obviously below the line because of Money… So I’m sure how much he is getting paid is playing into your LINE status!

The other two were the O’s the Twins and the A’s. I have always believed that a team can be successful with their back three starters pitching to the tune of a 4.50 but only if your top two guys eat alot of innings and keep their ERA around 3.00. This gives the bullpen a breather. The thing is I can’t see how the Mets are going to have this formula in place by the next few years. Unless Santana comes back able to produce.

That being said if he could up that to 6 inn per start and average the same runs allowed then the team should be able to win each start he makes if the bull pen is solid. the team scored 4.43 runs per game. I know non of this really matters because these type stats do not translate into wins or losses but it does show just how much inconsistancy hurt the team through out the year. If everything went consistant the team should have won at least half of their games.
