I do that all the time. Twice this season I purchased tickets for my wife and kids for lass than $10 each for $35 dollar seats. And one time they even allowed us to move down to the better seats that were usually $60 bucks I believe.

I actually think it works out bettter if you hold out and don't but tickets to the last minute. The Mets are going to have the same kind of team as they had this year. The other factor is the Nats and Fish are going to get way better which could leave us in last place.

Either way Stub hub will be selling the $5.00 seats again!

I bet weather will also be a factor.

The only thing that would show the even more strongly how much the Wilpon's are running on fumes is if Fred started holding up a cardboard sign out side the stadium that read "Freddie sez."

I think you meant when the phils are in the price will rise.

From what I understand, this pricing model is becoming much more common. and it makes a lot of sense, and positions better vs. the stub hub type secondary markets.

Also seems to encourage getting tickets early, since as soon as you buy them it becomes moot. Only way it impacts you is if you like to wait until the last minute to grab tickets.

and still better for the team to sell the left overs at a discount as opposed to not selling at all!
