  • Watching this video and the players talking about that day stirs up my emotions and fears from back on that day.

Thinking how it was at 1st just a tragic accident only to soon realize this was no accident. I remember calling my mother from work to get more info and her telling me the World Trade Center building had collapsed following with me not being able to fathom such a thing happening telling her it can’t be that maybe just the upper part fell. Only to soon come to the reality that it indeed collapsed.

It’s crazy I remember trying to call my wife worried and not being able to get a call through on the cell for what felt like forever and only thinking of pulling my kids from school to be home with us, reacting instinctively to have one’s family close to them in a time of crisis.

I was fortunate to not lose any friends or family that day but if this 1 clip stirred up my emotions going back that day I can’t even begin to imagine what those that were not so fortunate must be going through as the 10 year anniversary approaches.

It is going to be a difficult week.
