Flame throwers who dont know how to pitch or dont have and quality secondary pitches. Throwing hard is not evidence of being a good pitcher. Parnell was supposed to be a starter but after 100 or so starts he wasn’t improving and rather than throw in the towel they tried to make a late inning reliever out of him. So far? He had a lower ERA and WHIP as a starter so you figure it out. A 1.575 career WHIP in 4 seasons with Mets and people think he’s Goose Gossage or something. Only in Flushing.
