please, i will give you a full 24 hours to look for any post of mine wishing wheeler to fail.. also, read again what i said, BE CONSISTENT. if we’re gonna write about what wheeler ate for breakfast or what nimmo bought a macy’s we should also write about them when they don’t perform well, i guarantee you had he pitch 7 ip and allowed 1 or no run with 8 k’s ppl would be calling for him to be in the 40 man roster next year, and saying how he’s the future HOF..

Bradenton evened the best-of-three Florida State League semifinal series at a game apiece. St. Lucie mustered only two hits — by Pedro Zapata and Gilbert Gomez. The decisive Game 3 is scheduled for Thursday.

as i said yesterday, wheeler can show a lot to mets fans by having a good outing yesterday, instead, he folded.. i wish we could be more consistent, i see post here about how wheeler will be the next tom seaver, yet when he gives up 4 runs in 3.1 ip in a game to win a championship nobody says a single word about it… be more consistant people..

With St Lucie 1 win away from eliminating Bradenton as they got ready to play at home. I was looking forward to listening to this game and hopefully hearing St Lucie celebrate as they advance to the next round. The game had a 2 hour delayed start which worked out cause it allowed to listen to the entire Mets game and not miss any of the St Lucie game. Wheeler had handled Bradenton well in 2 prior starts according to the broadcaster and sounded good for 3 innings but boy those 2 4th inning doubles did him in. Peavy on the hill tonight. Hopefully they win it 2nite.
