Bobby Parnell IS NOT FIT TO BE THE CLOSER OF THIS BALL CLUB. Parnell isn’t mentally capable to close out games. I think he is almost the exact same way as Pelf when he struggles. He gives up one hit, and then he continues to fall. The only difference really is that Parnell isn’t a sap and bites his glove like Pelfrey.

I think either Izzy, or Manny Acosta should close for this team. Bobby Parnell should go back to being either the setup man, or be a 7th inning guy.

Game was tied at that point so no way of knowing if a save situation would exist in the 9th.

Besides, I doubt Herrera is next in line for the closer role. I’m kind of done though with the Parrnell experiment. He wasn’t getting it done in the 8th half the time and his handful of saves for the most part have been kind of shaky. They’d better have a plan B.
