It’s sad to say, but the new stadium will likely draw LESS people (correction: less non-$5-seat-paying people) than the current ballpark because it’s 30 minutes farther south (imagine the Mets playing on the eastern tip of Long Island instead of in Flushing). I’m sure the new ballpark will be nice, but I wouldn’t be shocked if the only tenant there by 2025 is the Miami Hurricanes baseball team.
