My comment was aimed towards the people who will come here and act as though the end of the world is near because Wheeler had a bad inning OR the people who act as though Doc Gooden is in the Mets farm system.

The only difference between Wheeler and any other Mets prospect is he has a higher ceiling. Just let the kid develop

Seriously who cares? Either you care because you’re making too much of a deal out of him or you care because you just badly need to be negative about him.

Let the kid develop just like any other prospect would. He’s a top pitching prospect in the sport, we should be happy he’s on our side and hope he hits that potential. Worrying about 1 start here or there is pointless. Let him get to AA and develop and then let’s start talking about his event throw.
