everybody is talking about 2014 and beyond like it’s a lock, we are a lot farther away than that.it’s like we’re counting on a winning lottery ticket.we’re putting all our eggs into rebiulding with only youth,that can be a real long painful process.there’s going to be a lot more games like this when you continualy play inexperienced players out of position.i don’t see it getting better anytime soon.

don’t tell that to alderson.. he didn’t think or care much for the 2011 mets, i am sure he’s glaf the team is doing ok, but his plan were:
to save the wilpons money = and he has,
trade away all stars for prospects = he has
rebuild for 2014 = he has..

Tes you could blame the Pen for giving up the hits and walks that let those guys get on but if Turner or Murphy just do what they are supposed to we would have been out of the inning or in a situation where one out stops the run from scoring.

What hurts the most is the last two losses have been due to rookie mistakes. We would have won those games if Turner and Murphy had just thrown the ball to first base right away!

Not Blaming him but Wright needs to step up and take the veteran leadership role in the inflield. It’s just too young and inexperienced on the right hand side. And truth is it isn’t really all thast young either…Just Inexperienced.
