I wouldn’t not put our chances of post season play on his return.
He needs to pitch, if he can to allay the fear that anyone coming back from injury feels, especially a competitor like Johan.

If he pitches whatever the amount of innings, games, starts, etc and feels good physically then this takes a big worry off his shoulders and Mets.

Going into ST knowing that your ace is healthy and ready to pitch makes a big difference in the team’s mentality in ST and also for mgmt going forward.
