We are almost into Sept let him get ready for Spring Training. Second I think Sandy needs to take a serious look at both their conditioning and Medical Staff. It has been a little better this year but not by much. There have been to many players who have re-injured themselves. Also Thole should learn to read his pitchers a little more. So if he goes out to talk to the pitcher like last night he should have picked up about the way he was throwing or his body language and call out the trainer or manager. Pitcher who don’t want to come out are not going to tell you they are hurting. Agree bring up an experienced younger pitcher to see what they can do more.

I mean, what’s going on with Ike Davis? Every 3 weeks or so, after “resting” as the docs put it, and he still can’t perform baseball drills they say, “Oh, let’s rest him another 3-4 weeks and re-evaluate him then”. These morons don’t know what they’re doing. They got their medical liscenses from a Happy Meal. Just go ahead and send Davis for surgery and get it over with. The sooner the surgery, the faster he’ll recover in time for 2012. Yet these bumbling baffoons seem to think “rest” is the magic pill that will make him all better again. That, or they’re under orders from the Coupons to save money by avoiding expensive surgery (see also Beltran, Carlos circa 2009-10 and Reyes, Jose circa 2009). When the Coupons get kicked out they need to take their quack doctors with them!
