Sun, 07 Aug 2011 23:59:49 +0000 http://metsmerizedonline.com/?p=56838#comment-171229 Let’s hope if Murphy can ever walk again he never plays another inning at 2nd base.He has no clue how to play 2nd base.I blame met management, not murphy.He was rushed through the minors (never played triple a) and was never allowed to play his real position (3rd base).Instead the front office, which clearly didn’t want him (luis hernandez, brad emaus)at second (turns out they were right) and the manager keep jerking this guy all over the place.If he was a real second baseman, he would have been in front of the bag and would have tagged out costanza when he overslid the bag.Instead he hurts his knee and will probably miss most of the season.Incredible!!
