LMAO @ Moises Alou obsessions. Nobody would have cared about Alou being injured if Milledge, Chavez and Gomez stayed healthy that season. All missed significant time due to injury that season.

As for the bullpen, here’s another piece of ignorant second guessing. No one believed Duaner was finished. We lost our 8th inning set up man who we have yet to replace, BTW.

A championship team does not have one guy carry them. A player picksp up a fellow player and carrys them when then are in a slump for a week or two, not carry an entire team to the finish line.

You call it BS rhetoric, the rest of baseball calls it the truth. Just because you don’t understand having a strong farm helps you in the long run don’t call it BS rhetoric.

Fun Fact:

David Wright has not played in 96 TOTAL games since 2005. That’s an average of 13-14 games a season missed.

Jose Reyes has not played in 311 TOTAL games since 2004. That’s an average of 39 games missed per season, a quarter of the season.

Now I’m not saying Wright should be untouchable, but I find it odd that the people who are adamant about getting rid of him try and paint Reyes as Mr. Reliable. At the end of the day, you can’t be a leader if you’re not on the field.

By the way, Freedom of Speech means you can’t be prevented from expressing your point. It does not mean that others can’t oppose it or that Joe has to use his resources to give you a platform.

You take each side of an issue frequently when it suits you. You criticize David Wright for not being a leader. Then you criticize David Wright when he shows he is a leader.

You say David Wright is just a stats builder, that he’s not a clutch ballplayer. (You don’t offer any convincing proof for your view.) Then you say if Wright were traded he’d bring a boatload of prospects. How can David bring the boatload if he’s not a really good player? I think you assume you’re smarter and better judge of talent than the front offices of the MLB teams. You seem to want it both ways. Are you for real?
