Being present is very poor judgement for his status. I do agree that he should be suspension for a long time. Like 50 + games. He was warned about this before. Here is a big question was he using the drugs but not tested for drugs. The standards that the Yankees hold on their players should suspension him for say 10 games without pay. What would George have done with him. A Rod your career as a Yankee is just about over and Kiss the Hall goodbye. Were any other Yankees involved.

Michael Jordan was and maybe still is a big time gambler in Vegas but he sure got a pass from the NBA and his fans.
this may be nothing more than a dumb jock losing lots of money at poker and nothing more. The key here is did he owe money to the other players and were they mob connected or had bookie type problems? Knowing that you can then put the pieces together.

Maybe a one or two month suspension MAX, maybe a year or two if he was actually betting on games.
