Scott Hairston Listed As Day-To-Day With Shin Injury

The Mets are saying that after examining Hairston’s shin injury, his status is day-to-day.

Original 9:15PM:

Scott Hairston left the game after the 2nd inning of the make-up game against the Marlins due to a shin injury.

Hairston hurt himself after hitting a foul ball off his shin in the first inning.

He returned for the 2nd inning, but was then pulled from the game shortly after.

X-Rays were taken of his shin and came back negative.

More on the injury to come.
