Winning without our starting infield in there goes to show that heart, soul, ‘wanting out, have some guts goes a very long way at this level because if you’re at this level you’re already talented but there are some very talented guys that have made a career out of blinking first in a staredown. Evidently these kids don’t.

Guts, heart, hustle and being smart DOES matter.

Great win inspite of Bay once again not delivering with RISP.
Here he had 3 opportunities even just get a ground ball to right side to get run in but if not for hitters behind him this game might have come out different.

2 HR in one game does not make you clutch, consistency does cause I was frustrated that once again when all thought he was out of his slump he returns to not bringing in runners when even a ground ball would do.

Great job by Niese despite bad call at 1st.
Great way to pick up slace by Duda and Tejada.

Considering all the two out hits and RBIs you have to admit that this team is playing very well in the clutch.

It is a testament to their fight and refusal to give up.

And as much as I would like to compliment the players for that you also have to give a lot of credit to Collins who has seemed to instill his dynamo personality onto the team!

actually if you listened to the broadcast last night, in the first inning Gary & Ron went into great detail about how talented Kuroda is and how he’s had some terrible luck with the Dodgers and gets some of the worst run support in baseball.

But yea, your way is better what does Ron know anyway

road warriors is the term, the mets have the most wins in the NL on the road, and if i am not mistaken the phillies have 167 runs with 2 outs? i could be wrong but i know boston has 170, also, the mets are 29-22 since ike went down as well.
krod is 22-25 and ppl wanna “shop” him, yeah, because we have a better option on the wings waiting.. good luck with that
for those who saw kuroda pitching, he’s now 6-10 3.06 and ppl would say he’s better than a pitcher who’s line is 8-2 3.46 era..
