Sorry to burst your bubble but you can thank Omar Minaya for saddling this team with gigantic, back breaking contracts that provided no wiggle room whatsoever last offseason. And trading Frankie Rodriguez was necessary if you want this team to have a prayer next year. If that awful option vests, then there’s likely no Jose Reyes and no hope of competing for anything in the next few years with Ruben Tejada at SS…plain and simple.
