He really should have had the 2nd half of the 14-2 game against Texas off and DH the following day. That combined with the following off day and getting out from under the Texas sun for the most part would have been a big help in keeping him fresh and hydrated. He just dried out in the heat and that’s one of the big causes of muscle pulls. Dehydration. He’s got to be given a breather every once in a while. His only days off have been when his Grandmother passed and when he got hurt. Especially while Tejada is up here it is important to let Reyes get his breath or you could wind up losing him for an extended period.
