Alex, I feel you should be banned again. My reasoning is that you said Jessep is “the only person you would like to invite to a game” What about the rest of us? Frankly, I’m hurt by being excluded. That’s like when kids bring cupcakes to class and only bring enough for half the class. NOT COOL! It sounds like such a good time too, You, Jesse,taking in a game siting right by D.Wright (how appropriate). All the makings of an amazing evening. Thanks A LOT!!!

I completely agree about it being hard to root against Bay! He hustles, is a pro with the media, and it appears that his failures really do get to him. Sounds a lot like Super Joe McEwing, another guy who was hard to root against… until it came time to actually play.

Thanks Mr. North Jersey. But I’m starting to come around it took me awhile too. But how can you not root for a guy like Bay? He’s a team guy, he takes it personal when he can’t come through for the team. Maybe that’s why his slump was longer that most because of him taking it personally and not letting it go. Who knows? But Bay is def. starting to show some serious signs and with Reyes out for an unknown period of time Bay will no doubt need to help carry this offense along with Carlos Beltran.

That’s very unlikely to happen. It would be very hard to move him b/c of the years and money left on his deal. With the Mets in the financial troubles they’re in there is no way they would eat any part of that deal. Just can’t see that happening at this point.

I’m happy you think I have influence over who gets banned. I don’t, but that’s cool that you think so. I’m fairly certain Joe can make his own decisions. It’s weird that you got banned for making every blog your personal battleground, and yet every blog written it seems one of the first posts is you referencing me in trying to pick an argument.

yes I wonder am I most happy a SS from Colorado is playing or more happy the team I watch every night is without their SS? Hmmmmmm

BTW Tulo hasn’t played since July 4th when he was pulled from a game, being reported he won’t start til tomorrow at the earliest. So he’s not a sure thing.

I have to admit, I like how you try every day to paint me as this guy who roots against the Mets when you also come here every day and root against David Wright. It’s slightly hypocritical.

I said at the beginning of the year Jason Bay is the X-factor for the mets to be successful for 2011. Now that he’s hitting well – since June 18, he’s .317/.386/.540 with 4 HRs and 16 RBIs, and 13Ks/7 BBs in 70 plate appearances…the Mets have also gone 10-6 in that time frame. It shows Jason Bay can help the team as equally as he can hurt it…and it’s not all on one person.

also, i don’t hate wright, i HATE his legion of fans who see no wrong on him, when he’s as guilty or more as every met for those choke jobs or failures, yet he gets a pass while beltran and reyes and co get the bulk og blame..
