I totally disagree with you. He’s cheap, and maybe a few adjustments and he can be what he once was. Wont cost us anything to find out if he can be spared. If it doesnt work out no big deal, if it does, jackpot.

Get him for cheap… What a sad sad hapless little line from a portion of the fan base that has been beaten and is now totally brainwashed into thinking about nothing but the financial line of a horrible family of Wilpons and their horrid partner Katz. a fan thinks of improving his team, not the wilpns pocket book.

What your saying was exactly what i was saying in my Kazmir article.

Basically we get him for cheap, send him to Buffalo, and see if he makes a comeback. It would be a low risk-high reward.

But if the Mets sign him, he will be in Buffalo. And they need pitching depth, so really it makes perfect sense to sign him. Cheap, needed in Buffalo, and if he starts to make a comeback with his performance, then he’ll get used in NY.

Beats him going to the Yankees and going to the bullpen.
