Wouldn’t even get them to pick up the phone if you plan on trading Izzy, He’s not something anyone would trade for, he is most likely going to pitch until he retitres and then do it as a Met.

pretty much on all of it!

Cap = highest risk for injury, highest value he is ever going to be and the only guy other than Niese (who should be untouchable if you ask me) that anyone would want to trade for.

I don’t see Pelf being someone anyone would give anything good up for. So no way we would get back as much as he is worth in our rotation.

Bell, Wandy, Kuroda, Lilly, Adams, Balfour, Coffey, Broxton, Breslow, Liriano, Wuertz and Gonzalez are the only ones on Heyman’s list that are appealing (excluding K-Rod and Pelf). The rest either suck or are decent but are screwed due to their contract.

interesting exercise. And if you look at the full list, he has another Met on it, but not IMO the correct one.

He has pelfrey down someplace around #30 (as a change of scenery guy), but I think that is a long shot.

Much more likely that if they are selling, it is Capuano that goes.

And before anyone gets in an uproar about giving up, if they are still viably in the race a month from now they should not be selling. Any of this speculation is only relevant if they hit the skids between now and the deadline. If they get to late July double digits out of the WC race behind multiple teams, might as well convert some expiring deals into prospect depth.
