          Hey – I had a parakeet named Skittles who Kelly actually got for me many years ago because she thought I needed a pet. Sadly he got sick and died after five years, but he was certainly the best pet I ever had.

  One more thing – when did KC become a big market? Also, Greinke’s numbers got worse since joining Milwaukee. (although the general point was made regardless).

  Ok, one more thing (I can’t quit you, @gregpomes). I am reading the CWS transax – they traded for Peavy too. Not a good record. And we don’t know what was Hahn and what was KW, we really don’t know anything about Hahn, so Pomes is just guessing or purposely trying to be controversial. He would be the FOURTH best GM if added to our back office today – ahead of Ricco and behind Depo, JPR and obviously Alderson. To give someone a foul to spew this stupidity is to keep giving us met fans a bad name.

    Phil: You need to understand. Pomes doesn’t want Hahn as GM for any other reason than to be different and negative. He knows nothing about Hahn just that he’s an up and coming GM talent most likely. If he thought about it for just a second he’d realize the Mets owners were being sued, they had limited cash and dealing with terrible attendance and performance the last 2 years and do not have time for a GM to “learn on the job”
