The game started out bad and just went downhill from there. Gee just didn’t have it but I agre with what Terry Collins said that it could be he was too strong and overpowering because of his last rain shortened start and the extra rest on his arm. I think Gee is going to bounce right back from this and get back to his winning ways next time out. LGM!

Looks like Bay finally gave up that stupid uppercut nonsense. I don’t know why he kept dropping his back shoulder but I’m glad he stopped, at least for last night. Hopefully he’ll continue to swing down on the ball and drive it.

Other than that, everything else pretty much sucked.

All our starting pitchers who had been hot, are coming back to earth. Cap, Niese and now Gee have looked awful. Plus Turner, Tejada, Murphy and Reyes are getting cold at the plate. Not good!

Here we played the previous 4 games against two bottom dwellers in hitting from the AL and they have out scored us by a bunch. What the heck is going on here?

I don’t want to hear that Gee was due for a bad outing, always the same thing said about Niese also.

Why can’t they have their bad start during a long winning streak? And against a quality team.
I was watching the game and remembering the hurting that the powerful Angels of Anaheim of Los Angeles of California in the United States of American in the North Hemisphere and I just wanted to yell.

Here we have two low scoring teams and they put the paddle to us after that tough series in Atlanta.

Some were saying long road trip, no chance to re charge well they had Monday off and it seems that only Bay came back to park ready to play.
How long is Terry going to keep running Murphy out at 4 with his struggles and not hitting lefties, I would rather have Pagan there cause Daniel is not producing anything.
Come on Terry you need to drop Murph and put Duda in the 4 hole or even Bay or rotate Murph and Bay cause right now Murphy is not producing anything for team.

I guess banishing Carrasco to AAA did nothing for him, on good relief spot and then back to the same crap he was doing before, sheesh how much worse can it get dudes?

Even though we lost to a bad team, I’m a little hopeful about Jason Bay’s performance tonight. If he could somehow build on this and start to deliver on that big contract, this loss wont be so bad.

Great to see Jason break out like that. He’s hitting .417 in the last 6, and I believe this was his first leftfield homer in Citi as a Met. Hopefully 2009 is finally being reborn.
