I think the Mets will make an “all-out” good faith attempt to sign Reyes. I’d be shocked if he doesn’t stay put. Just one man’s opinion tho.

you know what, is my fault to talk to a sabermetric.. please, learn baseball, if you are playing at home, game tied entering the 9th inning, you DO bring the closer to preserve the tie if you are playing at hom!!!!
now, on the road is a dif story, but at home, you do, reason why willie dodn’t bring in wagner was because he was afraid mr billy choker was gonna have a meltdown al a game 2 of the NLCS on a tied game, it backfire, he brought in heilman, booooom, he allowed the HR, we all know the rest..

the GM will not sign reyes, and the whole “they wanted to talk to reyes’ agen is so they could low ball him, say we try, then trade reyes for crap.. then tell the fan base we tried, but he didn’t wanna sign here.. f*** you saber alderson, that’s what reyes pretty much told his agent to tell saber sandy and his saberpostles!!!

First of all. Tulo made the 2007 playoffs because he didn’t choke. They won the wildcard thanks in part to Mr. Reyes .205 September average.

Secondly, Reyes was 23 not 22 (if we’re speaking facts)

This has nothing to do with David Wright. Tulo is better than Wright also.

You mentioned Tulo’s postseason #s in the same year that Reyes completely failed in September. You can’t mention 1 without the other… and I’ll take Tulo’s playoff failure over Reyes September failure in 2007 any day.
