Mets Stop Andre Ethier!

In tonight’s Mets 4-2 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Mets halted rightfielder Andre Ethier’s hitting streak at 30 games.

Andre Ethier went 0-for-4, after he walked in the first inning, flied out to left field in the second, flied out to center field in the fifth, grounded out to second base in the sixth and struck out in the eighth.

Nice job by the Mets to stop Ethier dead in his tracks!

  • Biggest accomplishment the Mets will have in 2011.

    • You are the worst “fan” ever, your cynical negative crap is so friggen old already. No one has claimed this season would be record setting, but you and every chance you get to knock the teams is sickening.

If things are that bad, why are you here every day?

      • Calm down, Susie.

        • Hahaha…yeah, that was original.

        • Grow up Mary

  • hey dumbass… Haters should stay off this page

  • mstt you suck

  • Nice to see us stop a hot hitter but I have to admit I was secretly hoping to see a Dodger break a Yankee record and take it over!

    Just for spite!
    lol

  • Great game, great fill in by Gee.
Pridie has shown that when Angel returns we can keep him and drop Harris and let him make all his Met killing catches elsewhere, if any body wants him.

I hope this game was a fluke for Jose cause all it takes is the first mental lapses of year and the Jose haters will be out of the closet.
Hey he leads league in multi hit games, 3rd in hits, leads in steals has a OBP over .360 so Jose has now shown why he should stay a Met.
