To add insult to injury, the Mets held a lead in all four games of the series. In fact, they lead heading into the 5th inning in all four games. Four straight leads relinquished after leading into the 5th inning at home is just not going to cut it.

Dan, I had not realized that. I dont remember it being mentioned during the final post game, that’s brutal. All I remember from that series Mets wise was that Beltran was demolishing the ball, that’s it. Otherwise it was basically an 4-day batting practice session for Tulo.

Mets have chance for payback and with Rockies struggling now is the time to take a seried from them and/or a sweep going into a struggling Astros team.

Sweeping the Rox in Denver isn’t likely, but winning the series is a must. I hope folks like Wright and Bay start producing. We need decent sp outings desperately.
