Josh looks distracted a bit, I don’t know cause he caught R.A. before but his footwork has looked ragged at times, slow; where is Sandy Alomar, Jr. who did good job with catchers.
Who, as a former good catcher, do Mets have to wk with Thole and other receivers in system.

Mets, again, have no one that worries the other mgr on bench.
Bruce Bochey made some gusty moves with the int walks but Mets could not make him pay, how much longer till Terry throws a bat or something to get these guys to get runners in with less then 2 outs? This is ridiculous.

Dickey used to be a fastball/curve/slider pitcher and was terrible at it. Those breaking pitches are probably in his arsenal, but they’re probably not very effective.

What are the odds that four singles score four runs? That they all get through the defense? That Josh Thole would have an error that would allow a runner to advance and then score, what would essentially be the tying run?

I would love to see Dickey come up with a new pitch just to throw everyone off!
But it’s probably more likely it will throw him off more than anyone else.

I see Dickey coming out of it at some point. I wish I could say the same for Pelfrey.
