Then came his move to TX; by the WS he was near invisible after beginning like a house afire raising his BA nearly 25 pts that late!

Its not out of the realm of possibilities that Frenchy has changed his approach and now improved, but its not in the realm of liklihood. You have to take into account his entire body of work, which does not bode well for him.

Sustaining such a BABIP isn’t too irrealistic. His career BABIP is around .300, right, but It’s not too insane to say that he might have made adjustments.

And who knows what impact being new to the AL. maybe they haven’t relaized yet to just never throw him a strike, and he will get frustrated and start swinging at anything?

of course, it is possible someone finally convinced him, for good, to be more selective and swing at better pitches in hitter’s counts!
