It seems that over the past few years Mets pitchers or coaches have never delivered a "message" to a batter that was putting a hurt on us, I have not seen it so batters just dig in cause they know Mets play nice and lastly I expected to see Tulo walked.
I don't take Collins excuse of having to make the right pitch. If it was that simple then there would never be intentional walks or batters pitched around.
Our staff can't even pitch around a batter, I knew when I say Tulo being pitched too that it would end in disaster.

Collins I assume must be ready to blow but he can't transmit his tough, Marine drill sarge type attitude to commons sense on the field. Sometimes you tip your hat and walk the guy, nothing wrong or weak looking about that.

Thank you Russ Z. and OMF. Laughing helps from crying. The great thing about baseball is there is always another game today. Hoping our fates improve.

In fact, the team formally known as the “Blake Street Bombers,” made the park named for a Bank play like Citizen’s Bank Bandbox during the wretched four game sweep. Balls were crashing into the seats with such force fans were taking cover under the Shea Bridge.

That's awesome!

Seems the Rockies’ right fielder had no problem handling David Wright’s game one ending drive. He wasn’t lost in the Bermuda Triangle, er, The Mo Zone, like several of the Mets have been. In the third year of existence can anyone definitive tell me that the Mets have a decidedly home field advantage at Citi Field?

They have no home field advantage, none.

Enjoyed this post very much, look forward to more. It's far better to laugh than get upset.
