  • Thanks for the update. I didn’t see Fernando Martinez’z name in the box score? He is not injured again is he? Feliciano played LF. Feliciano gets playing time over Martinez?
A 30+ year old prospect plays while FMart sits?

  • FMart didn’t play Monday or Tuesday… Hmmmm…
Maybe the Mets called him up! Yeah I like that idea. I would much rather have FMart playing LF until Bay gets back instead of this Willie Davis/Harriston/Murphy mishmash.
I am one Met fan who never has or ever will get FMart confused w/ KMart!
I still have faith in the kid!

  • Glad to read good news about Harvey. Can it really be long before Met Fans are clamoring to bring him up. Seriously, he looks good in a league known for good pitching. Give him a full solid year there and start him in AA next year. No more rushing guys up here before they learn how to pitch like Pelfrey, Humber, Mejia, and Parnell

Good to see Francisco Pena off to a good start with the bat in A+ This is his 5th pro season and he’s yet to have a good season. He can’t even get any playing time in the DWL with his father managing the team and only played 20 games last year. This is really a make or break year for him at 21.

    • There is a distinct difference between “rushing” a prospect, and “challenging” one.

  • Let’s see how Harvey adapts once scouting reports get out and he can’t throw his fastball by Single-A dudes anymore.

    • Oh okay. Unless of course he’s pitching in AA in two weeks.
