I love Mike Piazza, he was my favorite Mets player when he was on the team. Hell, I have been trying to get an autographed bat from him forever, it’s like they don’t exist. Maybe he just doesn’t sign bats, I don’t know. I am sure there are a few out there, but way, way, way, out of my price range.

He was a great player for the game, and for the Mets. Would he be a good piece for Mets ownership, who knows… Being a future hall of famer doesn’t necessarily mean you know how to run a buisness, or a ball club. He would definitely be a perfect front man for a new ownership team (which already had buisness and baseball savy officers) where he would be the public representative figure for the ownership group.

Mike continues to show that he is an upstanding person. His interview is what you expect as totally level headed and sincere. I truly hope that Mike is able to participate in an effort to buyout the Mets. We need owners like Mike and then I would feel very secure and content as a fan of the Mets.
