  • They had real dirt to St Lucie making the field just as good as Citi Field which is considered by some the best field in MLB. They added fireworks night. They will celebrate the 86 Mets this season.

All 3 are very good moves indeed.

  • Most teams’ fans consider good moves to be those that bring in good players. Losers like you jersey celebrate the moves made by losing organizations desperately trying to sell a ticket by non baseball actions. No wonder Bayonne knows you and calls you out for being the tool that you are. Of course since you are unemployed and spend your time spammin g the Mets boards instead of becoming a productive member of society, yu can’t go to any game unless some gives you a ticket.

    • :-) Harry the fact you took the time to reply to me to say I am a loser for saying what i did when had they not done the things i noted you would be among those complaining about how the Mets suck for not doing so is all one needs to know about your views.

Giving a compliment for doing a promotion fans want to begin with does not make the person saying it a loser but complaining cause someone paid a compliment sure does not make you a winner.

    • Bringing in good players like Wagner, Greene, Alou, Bay, Castillo, Perez, Schowenweiss, Mota? The one’s that can still play can’t get out of the infirmary and the one’s that can get on the field we can’t get rid of.

      Thanks, but no thanks.

  • I would add that you read the comment guidelines set forth by MMO. Most abide by them but sometimes you get those that need reminding.

Amazing how some so called adults never learned how to disagree respectfully. .

  • citi is going to be ghost town USA

    • I totally disagree how can you say that? I cant wait to see the Mets and I hope I get to go to about 10 games at least. How can you call yourself a fan if you only support the team when they are winning? Plus Im looking forward to seeing all our great young players get better, they are our future! Lets go Mets!

      • I agree about wanting to go. Just went to the site to poke around. Of course nothing there for opening day, but tempting to get something for the first weekend!

Being 2 hours away puts a crimp in getting there too often (especailly during the week). Never mind the cost!

      • Agree totally! I am going to my usual at least 10 games. I’m a diehard and I’ve gone to game during the lean years (early 90′s) as a kid with my parents and I will continue to go to take in the state of the Mets in person. And living walking distance from “City” Field helps a lot too. Sorry Stick!

    • BOOOOOOOO

Stay away until they start winning again, there will be plenty of room for you on the bandwagon…………..

  • I love how they still held back the subway series games… you would think they’d be begging us to buy tickets to anything.

  • Is it just me, or do you not love the slogan for this year.. ”We play hard for the die-hards”.. Isn’t that what it’s all about

    • I like it – bandwagoners see you soon.
