Nice showing by Young tonight. 5 1/3 innings, 1 run 4 hits.

Had to laugh when he was replaced by Perez, who promptly walked the first batter he faced. Some things never change…He got 2 outs to follow though.

How can you have a lefty specialist coming out of the BP who normally is one of the top leaders in walks?

lead off double by wright. Bay hits to ss failing to advance runner. Ike’s finds daylight between bat and ball as he strikes out (something he did a lot of last year) – so Mets fail to get runner home after leadoff double – sound familiar?
