Last year I saw the Mets as a mediocre team (about a .500 record) and I was in the ballpark but a bit too optimistic. This year I’m making no predictions to beat myself up with, but instead I’ll take what comes and savor it.

I feel better about our current front office and the role Terry will play in the dugout. Willie, Jerry and Omar are just historical figures now, so I’ll let their contributions fade into Mets annals.

I think we’ve got good baseball men now running the show but only time will tell.

76 here but I’m going to enjoy each and every one, and if I’m wrong, I’ll enjoy those two. How nice would it be to hear Gary Cohen say “and the Mets have knocked Lee, Halliday, Johnson, Vazquez, Zimmerman, Lincecum, Cain, Bumgarner, Kershaw, Jimenez, Carpenter, CC, AJ, Hughes……..
