Then again if you are talking about a guy like Oliver Perez, then yes, you might. It’s not just that he pitched terribly but instead because he refused to go to the minors to try and work out his problems. If you are talking about a player who aged poorly like a Luis Castillo that is a different story.

We all have our favorite players and then those who we don’t think much of but when that player comes up with the bases loaded in the ninth inning a real fan is not rooting against him.

Those who would do that are not real Met fans who seem to enjoy bashing Met players and even more they enjoy “baiting” real fans to tick them off. Send em back to the Bronx!
