Of course you were on top of the Beltran news… :]

So i’ve heard from the minor league games and random scout notes and whatnot that his swing seems intact but again, his knees are the problem.

Of course, that is an improvement. I look forward to seeing him on the field for the Mets and I expect him to contribute this year.

hopefully then he plays the first 69 for the mets then gets traded for a good prospect.

I still don’t think that Beltran will be healthy enough to play in more than 70 games this year. I hope I’m wrong and he plays and plays well but I feel like this will be one of those nagging injuries that he will have to miss time for throughout the season.
