As a politician, Mario Cuomo never saw a buck that he didn’t want to tax and spend. With Mario, it was always the next guy’s money he was spending. Hmmm. Is there a similarity between Mario the Politician and Mario the Mediator? Beware.

P.S.: Sterling Equities donated lots of campaign money to Mario’s son. This can’t hurt the Mets.

well, he is mediating a corporate finance/BK case. Nice that he happens to be a baseball fan too, but not really required here!

The better POV from a met standpoint is that it is unlikely that Picard is going to be able to push around or strong arm someone of this magnitude.

and getting a mediator involved is probably a good sign for getting this settled quick. Usually means the judge sees both sides digging in their heels, and he wants to get the damned case settled and off his docket. This has to move it along quicker.

I couldn’t agree with you more. I live in NY and think it’s great that father and son are baseball fans even if they don’t like the same team.
