The 2010 MLB Sporting News Awards – No Mets Edition

While we all wait for the Cy Young and MVP Award announcements, The Sporting News dished out their own awards yesterday and name Texas Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton the MLB Player of the Year. Hamilton edged out Cincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto according to the MLB writer Stan McNeal.

I probably would have given the NL ROY to Buster Posey over Heyward, and I thought Washington was a lock for AL Manager of the Year. Otherwise, I thought they did a fair job. No Mets players were honored.
